Kandla Grey Sandstone Patio and Path in Allestree

A Kandla grey sandstone patio with a path, laid across the full width of this Allestree back garden.

The existing drive was boarded over to protect it while materials came in by crane. The garden was then stripped back to soil, edged with new sleeper beds and built up with a compacted base before the sandstone went down, with a drainage channel running along the house.

The finished patio gives the owners one big, level space, and their furniture was straight back out on it the moment we were done.
