About This Project
A full natural stone patio installed across multiple levels, with a set of natural stone steps leading down from the back door to the main patio area below.
The job also included a timber railway sleeper raised planter bed, built alongside the steps to add structure and a planting feature to the space. Granite block edging was used throughout to frame the patio border, keeping everything looking neat and properly defined.
As with every project, the groundwork came first. Full excavation across both levels, a compacted sub-base, and proper drainage consideration before a single slab went down. Getting this right on a split-level job is critical — without it, the surfaces shift and the steps become uneven over time.
The end result is a multi-level outdoor space that's practical, good-looking, and built to stay that way.
