About This Project
The client wanted their old patio ripped up — and for good reason. It had been laid without a proper sub-base, the slabs had no full bed underneath them, and no primer had been used. It was only a matter of time before it started moving.
Along with the removal, they wanted to reduce the size of the patio and gain more turf area, giving the garden a better balance between hard and soft landscaping.
We stripped everything back, excavated properly, and installed a full compacted sub-base before laying the new Indian sandstone fossil patio pack. A path was included to connect the patio to the rest of the garden.
Done properly this time — the way it should have been done in the first place.
