About This Project
A full transformation, taking the garden from scratch and finishing it with a mix of materials that work together to create a low-maintenance outdoor space that still looks great.
The job included Indian sandstone patios and a pathway, artificial grass installation, timber railway sleeper raised flower beds, and a decorative gravel area at the far end. Each surface was chosen to complement the others — the sandstone gives a natural, warm feel on the patio, the artificial grass provides a clean green area that needs no upkeep, and the gravel adds texture and interest without adding maintenance.
Getting the levels and drainage right across multiple different surfaces is where the planning matters most on a job like this. Done properly, everything flows naturally from one area to the next and the finished garden looks structured and intentional rather than patched together.
The result is a garden the clients can enjoy all year round without the ongoing work that a traditional planted garden requires.
